Durable flashcards simplify programming with curated content, fantasy designs, and games.

Programming feels overwhelming; simplify

There are countless books, video courses, bootcamps, blogs, documentation, and programming technologies available today.

That’s great, but it’s also overwhelming and causes confusion. One person says, "Learn this," while another says, "No, learn that." Some claim a particular technology is the best, while others strongly disagree. Many courses are disorganized, chaotic, and of poor quality—some even AI-generated without meaningful structure.

As a result, when someone starts learning programming, they feel overwhelmed and lost. There are no clear answers, and the learning process feels like a chore. Programmers tend to complicate things, making beginners believe that coding is some kind of black magic.

But at its core, programming is simple and should be joyful.

Flashcards simplify and clarify learning

When looking for a solution, I wanted to find a way to:

  • Simplify the learning process.
  • Provide a sense of discovery.
  • Make learning clear and structured.

Flashcards turned out to be the perfect fit. They’re small cards that can hold only a limited amount of information, which forces careful consideration of what’s most important to include.

When someone begins learning programming, the first question is usually: "What can I do with this?"

The answer: basic functions—ready-made pieces of functionality you can use to build applications or games. I applied the same approach to all the other flashcards.

Curated flashcards spark exploration

The flashcards include a carefully curated collection of items. They don’t contain everything—because that would be impossible with so much knowledge out there. Instead, I selected content that showcase the range of possibilities.

This is a starting point: "Ah, I can do things like this." From there, it’s easier to explore related things, learn how to use them, and start creating and exploring.

Fantasy makes programming magical

If the flashcards only described functions, they’d be boring. Traditional flashcards, like those for learning languages, can feel tedious. So, I decided to do something different.

As a fan of fantasy, I designed the flashcards in a fantasy style, giving them the feel of collectible cards. They’re visually appealing, high-quality, and enjoyable to use.

The function descriptions aren’t purely technical—they’re written as fantasy narratives, explaining what each function does through metaphors from the real world or a magical fantasy world.

This makes learning less like studying Excel and more like discovering a magical realm. And in a way, programming is magical because it gives you endless possibilities.

I applied a similar approach to the flashcards on every topic.

Flashcards make learning fun and memorable

The cards stimulate imagination, making it easier to remember the functions and associate them with something meaningful. Functions on their own can be dull, but now they’re connected to fantasy scenes, characters, and stories.

Learning with flashcards becomes a relaxing experience. You don’t need a computer or smartphone—you can use them at home, in the office, or on the bus.

I applied a similar approach to the flashcards on every topic.

Flashcards combine beauty and versatility

The flashcards are impressive—they’re aesthetically pleasing, and just flipping through them is a unique experience.

They can be used individually or in various ways. For example, some teachers and mentors use them for programming discussions.

I applied a similar approach to the flashcards on every topic.

Flashcards double as a fun game

To make the experience even more engaging, I added a game mode.

  • The cards have points and superpowers, allowing you to play in groups of 2-4 people.
  • The game is casual and doesn’t require programming knowledge, so anyone can join.

This adds a fun bonus—if you’re already using the flashcards, why not use them for a quick game?

Includes instructions, notes, and blanks

Each set includes:

  • An instruction manual, explaining how to use the cards for learning and in game mode.
  • Space for notes, because many users asked where they could jot down their own insights.
  • Five blank cards for adding personalized information. This way, the deck can adapt to your needs, instead of relying on random scraps of paper.

Premium, durable, and elegant cards

The cards are crafted with premium materials to ensure they last:

  • Linen texture – An elegant look and feel.
  • UV coating – Protects against wear and tear.
  • Sturdy construction – The cards stay flat and don’t bend, even with heavy use.

Designed for durability, not waste

Recycling isn’t the ultimate solution to waste problems—it requires constant production and reprocessing, which consumes energy and resources.

That’s why these flashcards are designed to be durable. They’re not disposable—they can be reused, gifted, or even sold to someone else. This minimizes waste while ensuring long-term value.
